I am sure that you can find a similar EU supplier.

I don't have any. I have requested several people that I know that run them to put one on a scale. Once I have an answer, I will post.

I finally managed to equip my quad for some night flying. Just need to find a camera that is good at taking night shots now, because the gopro is rubbish at night.

Graupner E-prop 10x5 = 12,57 gram

They fly very direct compared to the Gaui 330X prop's that I also use.

Holco:

Would you say the Graupners are stiffer than the Gaui? How are the strength wise. I live at 2000M and the temps here are low, 0 C or lower, especially in the winter. APC's are too fragile for my environment so I tend to use Gaui and EPP since they are flexible don't easily fracture.

Absolutely stiffer than the Gaui prop's and they will not break ( glass-reinforced) in flight bud when you hit something under power they will brake for sure.

Can someone post a link for a programmer that I can program an atmel48 in. I have Jakubs quadcontroller, so I will need to be able to insert the atmel into the programmer. I have been looking but not seen anything just right. A lot of people suggest the Atmel programmer, but I would have to modify my board. Any suggestions?

First flight with modified Jakub frame

Happy new year to you all.

Today I did my first two flights with my quadcopter.
Because I never flew a multirotor before, I modified Jakubs frame for prop protection. I will change to the original arms once I'm confident to fly it.
But I must say it flies very stable without the need to modify anything.
Thanks to all, because reading this thread has made my start in multirotors easy.

Well there are a few options like buying a programmer that you can put your chip onto to programme, or else getting a blank v6 board and soldering in a socket for your chip, ISP header, and 5V power source. Or you can get a breadboard and build your own target board circuit.

Or if you intend to do a more playing around with the upgrading of software etc you might consider getting a target board like this...

http://evilmadscience.com/tinykitlist/74-atmegaxx8

In all cases you would need a programmer which you could again build yourself or else get something like the AVR ISP Mk2 programmer, which is pretty much guaranteed not to give you any problems.

I personally use a v6 board with socket and headers and an AVR ISP Mk2 programmer.

Hope that helps,

Cheers,

Niall
