Hi Dion,

I will be checking Charl's chips when they come back. If it turns out to be a clock problem, I have some more chips in Zimbabwe, and one of my guys will probably be going down south later this week or early next. I will get them to post you a replacement when they get to JHB.

Cheers,

Niall

I have a Corona RX and a Futaba TX, and it works fine on mine so I suspect an issue with the fuses, but we need to check to make sure. I should know on Friday if the old chips arrive by then.

Cheers,

Niall

I use the Corona RD620II And a Futaba T6X super.

Quad 1650g weight is way too heavy!
You can make without problem quad RTF <> 800g.

You should try to make your quad lighter...

Jakub-your talking about just motors and not esc's as well correct. I was thinking of using either the Turnigy 2217 20turn 860kv or the BP A2217-9 950kv which comes in at 71 and 73.4 g respectively.

This for a fairly standard quad for my first build. TH v6 kk board - towel bar frame-55cm. Any recommendations or input?

Sorry for getting a bit sidetracked. Can somebody point me in the right direction for info on programming the chip via 6 pin header with a normal ardiuno?

Does anyone know if the files etc for this version of the board will be available to DIY?

i like the look of the pictures , looks like the frame could be quiet nice.

Also i couldnt see any mention of Rolfe or Kaptainkuk there anywhere

wish i could read what ever language the website is in, theres probably a link there somewhere.
