Thanks Ian

I didn't get the pm/email, something went wrong..... I'll check out the guide and follow the instructions once I get a board. A buddy of mine has been waiting 3 weeks for his RCTimer order... damn Chinese new year!

I bought a bt dongle from rctimer and after 3 months it never came. They were kind enough to send another but that never came either. Ended up getting one from GLB instead.

Im not sure if it got lost since maybe the packaging was too small or whether it was stolen when it got into our area

As a safegaurd I would make sure anything you order has tracking.

I have good result with x900 HK frame

x900 flight in friend backyard (7 min 14 sec)

but I borrow motors form quad, have some NTM motors with different kv,

can I use different kv motor for tail motor?
can I use different size prop for tail?

Does smaller prop on tail reduce tail servo work/tension?

Even KV motors and props all round is correct method
In level mode it will probably fly with different tail combination but it will just make the motor work more or less to maintain level flight.
In acro you will have to fight the tail
A bigger prop will load a servo more than a smaller one

Because I'm flying with the APM 2.5 I use the minim osd which takes the telemetry data from the board and overlays that on the screen. Very nice osd with just about every bit of. Info you ever need on a screen and a crap load more that you just don't need.
Thing is, like the remzibi, that you need to give it data to print on the screen. My minim will not work unless its connected to something that will give it data to put on the screen.
The other one I have used is the G-osdII flashed with CL-OSD software which gives it a home arrow and some other stuff.
What board are you flying now John ?

I have the remzibi on the hquad with a crius multiwii board and gopro 2. I am using my original home made multiwii with nunchuck arduino board on the x525 no fpv or cam and I am putting together the post pak quad with an old hobby king kk board. If all goes well with that one I may get the horyzon v3 and the g-osdII or another remzibi.

Btw I just got myself an electric bike and hoping to make a zippy battery pack for it soon.

Thinking about a 3d printer since prices have come down a bit. A few to choose from so need to do some research first.
