Torsional twist is the biggest issue with those frames, you may need upper and lower bracing.
I love that multiwii board. I will get into it soon but I dont mind waiting a little while to get your feedback.
In the meantime i have ordered some 9x6 props, i noticed that David uses them in his rcexplorer tri. The new rage is also for 4s batteries !

Yeah, ask me how I know it..
Frame broke in flight
Repairing it will be a big job.. new frame is ready, but too much electronics and wires.. I love it though.. by the way, it flew really well and no issues with forward flight and wind..

I harvest my G10 from pcb bought from Jaycar.
If I want tracks for my power for the esc's etc I draw them in twink and etch off the copper.
Even with the etching solution it worked out about 30% cheaper. There is only one company here selling G10 sheet.
It's cheap PCB so you can lift a corner of the copper and tear it off if you don't want to etch.
The G10 underneath is all good ;-)

A friend of mine bought one of those little things.. He is very happy with it..

About my quad, it will still take some time to finish repairing it as I'm still working on making my 9x radio speak, have models stored in the SD Card and serial connection to the PC for updating the sound module and file transfer to the SD Card Next will be a built in coffe machine

But the winter is long here.. Also must do a complete check to my tricopter. It will be 2 years old in a couple of months but Since Ian was here, my tri developed some unexplainable suicide tendencies..

GOT my bird int the air

got it flying today and it is immediately a favorite right there with my quads and helis.handles great very responsive with the 700kv motors and 11 x 4.7 props lots of lift and gitty up. used some plexiglass for frame platform and wood with holes drilled in them to lighten them up. thanks to all that helped work out the last lil issues i had got em worked out mostly by going to a version2 board like whats in my quad got away from the version 3 fixed all problems weird huh should work with either

It's mine. I knew I should have used FPV instead of relying on my eyesight
