Hummmmm I'll take the foam For the extra weight it's worth 1. not having to cover w/monocote 2. 10 min build time

You are compairing this to the one by Dblum... in case you haven't noticed this is foam. It may look similar, but it's not a copy.

vleisie, your model looks awesome!!! and for the price of a photo, you posted your plans....that is very kind for you to do. i am very interested in this model, and will be following closely to see the build photos start poppin in your thread...maybe one that i built also, lols. great job on this one man, it looks absolutely great!! randy.

Thanks for the link. On the balsa build I noticed he used a mid mounted motor and drive shaft. That should make balancing much easier. Not as simple to build as the pusher.

did you reinforce the depron someway? I mean, if you intend to land and take-off from the belly, it won't las too long if you don't protect it.

what did you use for the colorfull lines, paint, oracover,etc??

Hi Dani,

I used clear packing tape on all the leading edges, it protects and stiffens the surface. I would recommend this for the bottom of the plane also. It is very light.

The colours are vinyl, you can get it from a sign shop. It is very convenient, but a bit heavy, probably 20g or more on this plane.
