Derek motor wise I would go for 2 of the big Graupner 900's like I have in USS Long Beach they will move that beastie of yours no problem at all even on 12 volts! On Sunday Long Beach showed off her speed against 4 different warship models and trounced Em' (on 12v too!!)
You could set the motors up 2 drive all 4 shafts (even if U don't fit all shafts at once) they have plenty of torque for the job! Just run slightly larger props when running only 2 shafts, then when you fit all 4 go for 4 scale size props'
