Great 16-20 oz 3D/Aerobatic Planes

Looking for a plane that will work with my Hacker 20-20. Lots of great planes in this weight class, but I am sure I will learn about a few more. Please offer suggestions.

Airfoil Z planes are spectacular in their precision-airfoiled wing and great design-may replace my war torn edge with a Yak

Love the e-foamies, but they are a touch light for this set-up.

My Stevens Groove makes me think about the Stella, but I don't want to spend ~40 hours on another kit build.

So many planes to choose from?

I would really like a full fuse model that would meet this weight requirement (Airfoil Z's full fuse models are a bit heavy, although the profile planes are fine), but a profile would work. Too bad the Skeeter 36" is no longer available.

NO e-flite planes need apply.

Give the Exhila a try from Shulman Aviation. Comes in around 18.5oz with 1320-50 11.1v packs.

I'm not a fan of depron planes, so I'll recommend some EPP ones.

CST Katana: http://www.rc-netbutik.dk/product.asp?product=956
Hokusei Ultima BX: http://www.bestvaluerc.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=204
Hokusei Primus Z: http://www.bestvaluerc.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=114
Hokusei Yak 54 BX: http://www.wattaplane.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=2
Red Eagle Model Extra 300s: http://www.bestvaluerc.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=220

There are threads on all these planes in the 3d flying forum. All of them are good, but they differ in their flight characteristics.

eg. Best plane for precision flying: CST Katana or Hokusei Primus Z
Best plane for hardcore violent 3D: Hokusei Ultima BX
Best plane for easy fun fly (non precision) 3D: Red Eagle Model Extra 300s
Easiest plane to fly: Red Eagle Model Extra 300s

My favorite plane by far for that motor is the Fliton Extra 330 Mini. It has some issues, but you will not find a better 3D flier for that motor. At least not yet.

+1 for ParkMaster. For this size range it is hard to beat and it is very durable.

I have a 28" DW, but I much prefer an airfoiled wing.

I always loved the looks and lightness of Fliton planes, but the issues you mention are perhaps weak landing gear, warped surfaces......please refresh our memories.
