Peterson Butte opens tomorrow (Nov 1) and there is good south wind in the forecast. Some rain too... Who's going? Tomorrow is a holiday here, but I still can't make it; don't have the clothes for is anymore... ; )

Anybody know the state of the access road? Last time I heard it was pretty grim, needed work, possibly a culvert?
Pity Dieter hasn't got the right clothes . . . .

It was great
Went to the butte for the first time today ...
The wind was awesome nice and warm and no rain flew the Lefish,the mach 1 and the first flight on the composite moth.WOW what a awesome day where were you guys? I got there around 2flew till past 4 ... |

I just took a moth and bagged the wings with 1.5oz kevlar added a bunch of uni carbon to the leading edge cut the ailerons in for the kevlar hinge .
Shaped the fuse layed it up with 4.5oz carbon I will get some pics soon |

Hi Pete, good for you to discover the Butte. Were there any hang-glider guys up there? We have been getting along great with them; Steve, Duane, Pete are the usual suspects there; please say hi for me when you seem them. And the owners too, the old folks in particular...
