World Models Minimoa

Does anyone have any experience with this Minimoa from World Models??

I - by chance - happened to get my hands on a fuse. But that is all I received. It has a few minor cosmetic issues that I am fixing, but I need wings!!

I have looked at the website/manuals/etc and can't find any reference to airfoils. I would like to cut a set to make this bird fly, but I need to find the right templates so it'll match up with the fuse correctly.

Does anyone happen to know the right airfoil/numbers I should be using?

It's a great flying model. Suggest you check the Airborne Models web site (importer) as they sell replacement parts. By the time you finish doing all the work and finding the right size wing blades, it will be cheaper to have simply picked up a set of finished wings.

My 2 RMBs,

Steve

I did check w/them... Even had a contact here locally that deals w/them on a regular basis check...

They can get me new wings - but I might as well buy a new plane for what they'd charge me. That's why I thought I would cut/bag my own -- gotta be cheaper in the long run!?!

I have this model but its an ARF so I dont have the rib templates..this is practically identical to the S2G. I guess u need to get the plan and scale it down to wing root.

The ARF wings are not that great..better to build from scratch.

Thx Martin... Will give that a try tonight.
Only other option I was considering was to lay the fuse on the copy machine and get a photocopy of the wing root and use that as my template; just scale down for the tip.
