Exi 450

Ordered one, should be here on friday. I was looking for parts for the T rex, when I found this for 55 bucks. Wow.

I presume my trex set up will work.

There is an exi thread for the future.

I have the same motor in mine and like it so far, I haven't had alot of fly time on it yet. No clue on the head bits though.

EXI 450 plastic or CopterX?

Which is better EXI450$39.95 with $39.95 alum upgrade package, probably free shipping from XHELI, or Ehirobe,CopterX $59.95 all metal looks like blue CNC, $24.00 shipping. Is the EXI upgrade same metal as the CopterX or the blue CNC better, stronger than the, what looks like alum EXI, Help!

Which 450 platform

Thanks Iwas checking spechs on CopterX and it says the head and tail are alum, anodized blue, so same as EXI alum head only they are not anodized blue. I hate spending $24 for shipping from Hong Cong when I can get the same Chinese 450clone at Xheli for free delivery, fly the plastic cause i'm new to 6ch and when i crash hard, replace with the $39.95 alum head and tail, for same price as CopterX. So plastic flies good, and tail will hold up also? I dont plan to fly no 3D. I fly HBFP everyday in my basement and garage for a year now so i'm ready to move on. Looking for a good 450 clone, platform to use Hitec 65 nylon, 40VolcanoESC, GY48v. Planing to get DX6iTx. Any help or deals, thanx.

I am new to the Clone 450 helis and only familiar with the Blade 400. I ordered this Exi that comes the alum head, tail and carbon fiber frame for $77 yesterday. There are coupons for 10% off or free shipping. The free ship was the cheaper route for me to go. Here is the link. Let us know if you need discount codes.

Dollar for dollar, the Copter X can't be beat. They make an EXI version with half-metal head for a little less.

Wow nice choice, well couple days ago on the 3rd , right when i woked up i ordered the EXI Aluminum 450 Barebone Kit Version 2 for 49.70. You got a
good deal on you'rs. I didn't want to spend extra because I already baught a new futaba 8fg radio from towerhobbies which cost me over 400 dollars. So I'm testing this new radio on my new exi. Hope the build of the heli is good enough that it wont strip any threads or break in flight with my powerful scorpion 2221-6 v2. I baught this heli so i can atleast have a heli for this month. I probably get a exi 500 or hobby king 500 gt. Wish me luck guys .
Oh i wish i knew a 10 dollar discount. I used a 5 dollar discount i found over the net. Well I gotta sleep. Adios amigosn

I was reading about that. Thank you. I was going to just put my CNC head and tail on, but I think I will just fly it with the plastics for a while.

I dont see the logic with purchasing the upgrades for another 39.95. Just buy 2 helicopters for the same money and you have a ready supply of spare parts. I have probably 50 flights on my 39 dollar one with absolutely no problems, not even a loose screw. This is one sweet flying and responsive bird.
