Wing Tilt Mechanism
Hi,
I'm new here and to building VTOL models. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on the best way I could tilt the wings on a tilt wing aircraft I'm currently working on. The wing span is about four feet and there will be a spar running most of the way through it. I need something with a lot of holding power for the vertical and horizontal modes, but fast enough to get through the transition mode without any trouble. Right now I am thinking of trying something with worm gears, but I don't really have any experience on this matter. Thanks in advance! |
