XR on patrol, Dog Beach CA (pics)
Hi all,
just wanted to post a few pics from some slopin with my XR over at Dog Beach in Huntington CA on thurs 4-24-03. After picking up a new servo arm (broke on Tues after "combat" hit with a Raider) in Fountain Valley's Hobby People, drove over to Dog BEach with a buddy who took the pics...a guy with a Raider was havin some fun and I joined in.... Crap, missed Sat and the little XR/Radier thing I had planned; hope Tenover and others had a nice time...I wish I was there!!  Ray XR on CAP patrol; note naval forces(surfer). Flipside: Flipside to base, we are heading North at three niner zero, Angels 1. Coast appears to be clear. |

When do you all get out to HB? That slope is just down from the old mans surfing spot. I need to do some more slope flying. It's time to bring out the Wedgie SV.

Hey tenover! it's true!
me and another guy with a Raider were runnin around the slope formation/follow the leader/aerobatic style when he hit me by accident..knocking off a winglet. I later came up from under him and hit him, only to see my right pushrod come up a little bit! it wasn't my XR's fault, and it wasn't the Raider's victory  Oh yeah, did ya go to dog beach? how was it? sorry I couldn't make it...maybe soon again Godspeed and see you on the flipside, Ray |
