No flight today. Even with the 5320 it was still very tail heavy. Will have to end up adding lead to the nose.

I am using 4s 4000 gen ace packs for 8s in series.

Single servo elevator and rudder on pull pull.

yea, shove the batterys all the way up and go fly and enjoy.

I mean if the rolls say bake for 12-14 minutes, do you go with 12, 13, or 14? hehe

CG'ed using your method .. Tail just drops to the ground. I will have to do just that. Go out and fly it.

It was pushed right against the firewall.. LOL.. I normally use the "mean average"

I actually had more chances to fly in NY since my rogue field was only 5 minutes away from the house.

No rogue fields here which in which I have to drive atleast 30 minutes to the nearest club.

But I am able to fly my crack yak a lot in my culdesac if that counts.

Hahah you got it Rob.. Yeah with the bigger planes I tend to be a bit more careful with CG vs the smaller planes I will just fly it as suggested.

I can't believe you are still trying to balance that plane!!! I would have given up by now haha.

I got 12 flights on mine between yesterday and today. it is more locked in than ever after setting my trim steps to the finest setting and tweaking the knife edge mix ever so slightly. I love how solid this plane is in precision and how stable it is post stall.

despite always having a low rate rudder set up on a switch, I never used the low rate until this weekend. wow, I should have tried it earlier! the problem with high rate rudder is that every time I went to make a slight correction (for wind in an upline, or during point rolls) I would over correct and change heading. low rate rudder allows way more subtlety in yaw. duh.
