Yeah with the bigger planes I tend to be a bit more careful with CG vs the smaller planes I will just fly it as suggested. |

damnit, I have to stop posting at 6am. I meant maybe they made your tail out of oak...
I can't believe you are still trying to balance that plane!!! I would have given up by now haha. I got 12 flights on mine between yesterday and today. it is more locked in than ever after setting my trim steps to the finest setting and tweaking the knife edge mix ever so slightly. I love how solid this plane is in precision and how stable it is post stall. despite always having a low rate rudder set up on a switch, I never used the low rate until this weekend. wow, I should have tried it earlier! the problem with high rate rudder is that every time I went to make a slight correction (for wind in an upline, or during point rolls) I would over correct and change heading. low rate rudder allows way more subtlety in yaw. duh.
