I agree Arthur, definitely irrelevant.
Mine was just a clarification and yes, the quality of the plan I found was much better. I need to peer through my collection of old magazines to find it out.... and hope the fortune will assist me!

Barry, you are right! Battery, radio and 2 servos are in the nose section
and there is very few oil residues to wipe out at the end of the flight session.
I built the model without side or down trust and she flies straight even during the transition when the engine stops.
The Mixer do not like sudden and big stick movements; due to the lack of prop wash on the tail, and the relevant moment of inertia along the longitudinal axis, PIO is possible.
Releasing the sticks is the best way to stop the oscillation. The model recovers the correct attitude almost immediately.
I easily learned how I may avoid PIO using a bit of attention and moving the sticks slowly.

Cleveland Models is still in business selling plans. The Streamliner is plan GP-5024. I have bought several plans from them over the last few years and they are great.

Curtis wright junior originally manufactured in the thirties is a nice practical scale pusher model that should fly well. Under six hundred pounds in original configuration and carried two in tandem. I have seen the plans before somewhere. Will go looking.

This model was not built too often. There may have been a kit as I remember it appeared it would fly well and may construct easily.

With the light cheap reliable radio gear available in the last few years almost anything is possible now. I never thought radio control would catch on. The first examples that appeared at the field were like flying bricks when the engine quit I remember. Even my first single channel affair had too many dry batteries. Plus I seemed to always be tunning it and range checking. Plus plugging in meters. In retrospect this is better today than even the mind could have visualised back then.

RCM has plans for the Curtiss Junior in two sizes, one at 1/4 scale, the other is smaller. They also have a semi-scaler called the Woody's Pusher. Obviously all are powered, not rubber.

Right! This is the name of the model!
My collection of magazines do not go so far back, which means the plan has been republished more recently.

Theres a pretty substantial canard pusher plan on the Plans page if you take a look.
There is also a delightful light plane Ive mentioned elswhere ...the Dart Pup... a bit like a Woody but with swept wings theres plans for a 72" span version though Peter rake may be working on a smaller version.

Here is another rom the old Aeromodeller range. This is the "Delta 1" from November 1952. My version here I built around 1958/60 and I had a ED Bee in it. I can't for the life of me remember how it flew.

I have the full size plans for the Delta 707 (post #5) and have liked the looks of it since it first came out. I've thought about it for a brushless outrunner and fitted with retracts. Haven't done anything about it yet, haven't even looked a landing gear placement, it's still just "pie in the sky".

So many models, so little time!
