How bad is your Zero, can you fix it? I'm preparing to fix mine.

I see bp hobbies has decent prices on similar planes. They come with a C10 outrunner for $29.99. I am sort of bummed, I was purposely crashing and using these for combat since they were cheap (I'd buy 4+ at a time lol) and just chucking them at the end of the day. Now, I am down to 3 flight ready and one in the box and saw Gravity no longer lists them..

If those are the FlyFly, which they appear to be, they look great but don't fly worth a damn.

Perhaps I should clarify. As produced, they are terribly tail heavy. the average of 45+ grams of additional lead (besides the lipo) needs to be added in the nose to approach a flyable CG. That brings the AUW up to about twice that of a cox micro. After some tweaking, it will fly at mostly full throttle. Attempting to slow it down will make it fall out of the sky due to the very high wing loading. So basically, it flys like a lead pipe if you can even get it to stay in the air.

Joe is correct. As I really enjoy mine, it's takes some teaking to
get it to fly.

yeah thanks for the heads up, i was interested till I read bout the crazy CG issue, my zero is fixable but getting too heavy with all the glue . Sounds like a heavier motor was in order. Someone needs to step up to the plate, the cox warbirds were so popular, for good reason.

So true. I'm reconstructing my Zero as well. I'm either going to go with a Green or White paint scheme. If you're going with a heavier motor, 19 gms have worked very well for me.

The gravity website has been down for a few days, not looking good for the return of the micro warbirds.

LOL, I did that before gravity existed. I still have 20+ of the cox kits tucked away.

I have 2 P-40's, 1 P-47 & 1 Corsair Gravity warbirds still in the box in the closet. Plus 5 virgins hanging on the wall. One rebuilt stock p-51.

I don't think we will see Gravity warbirds again.
