I ordered a Gravityhobby Sportsman Series C-17E . I'm currently modifying a Flight Academy series of the same plane. ( http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1391931 ) The Flight Academy series is a 20" ws and the Sportman series is a 28" ws. They both come with brushed motors which I am replacing. The 20" comes with junk toy electronics. The 28" comes with no electronics. These will be built before I start on any of my GH warbirds. I need the experience. I have a SkySurfer for a trainer.

That single aileron setup has gotten my attention. Does it have a rudder, too? How well does it fly? Got pictures of yours with the mod?

And no, not a clue as to how many different parts went into that modded Zero.

That plane used a bf109 fuse, a zero wing, P-47 rudder and elevators, spitfire canopy and P-40 prop with spinner. Can't tell you what is inside, but that's what the airframe consists of.

What is it? I've been looking at pictures on the web and can't find it.

Did you see it fly? It must have impressed you if you incorporated into one of your birds.

The Ki-61 flies great. I built it over three and a half years ago and it still holds it own.

Here's a link to the original build thread.

It is 4 channel and the only time you notice a difference in having only one aileron is when you do a complete roll. Rolls toward the aileron are faster than away from it, but you can't tell a difference when just banking for turns.

Oh. Okay, now I see it. Beautiful. I remember when you were building it. I forgot about the single aileron part, somehow. Doh!

Hey SMRTIC. It was a pleasure meeting you & your family at
SEFF. Your planes were very original & well done. I was quite
impressed. I haven't flown my upgraded P-47 yet, i'll report when
that happens. How's your F4 coming along?

Just saw this at HK. Me-109 w/2900 brushless motor for $10.00. It's the same plane as the Gravity Me-109. Only nine available at this posting.

Shipping to USA $18.95. I think.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting a Pearl 780 glider from HK but the shipping was almost as much as the glider. When I combined the Me-109 and Pearl 780, I was given a shipping option other than EMS which was only about $2.00 more than the shipping for the Me-109 alone and less than the EMS shipping for the Pearl 780 alone! Thank you again for the tip.

Happy to be of service.

What's funny is last week I bought a Spitfire and an ME-109 from GH. Now the ME-109's $10.00 w/ brushless from HK. Of course it was still way cheaper from GH and I've got some 1811s looking for a home.

Mostly I decided to buy them b-4 they were no longer available for the $12.99 price.

This'll make it a P-47, a Zero, an Fw-190, a Spitfire and an ME-109 still NIB along with the P-40 that's built. I wonder if I should seek help from those people who do that TV show on hoarders.

When you get the ME-109, Ronald, post some pictures of the inside before you start assembly. They also come with landing gear according to HK. I'd like to see some pics of all the pieces other than those from HK. If you don't mind, that is?

will, that P-51 is a beauty. How many cells did you have during the video? And were you able to balance with just a battery?
