Gee, MF.

If the name of the thread is Gravity Hobby Classic Warbirds(previously COX Warbirds) and someone asks if anyone's done a Mustang isn't it obvious which Mustang?

I think you try to be difficult sometimes.

Oh, yeah. Ain't nobody got a ZERO that's not built. I could sure use a scan of the decal sheet.

well because the setups are all the same more or less I'm useing the same 3.7g turnigy servos.. I intent to use 1 for the ailerons 1 for rudder and 1 for elevator..
Same receiver as my FW190 which is the DSM2 compatible from HK.. (GREAT RECEIVER guys for those who want to use it) I justwanter if the thrust that the 10g motor is enough to take in the air a 3servo plane.

also as concern the props.. I'm using a 5030 GWS prop. that's a 5x3. it flies really well. anybody tried anything different and compared those?

Hey pavcon,

How long have you had that receiver? I check everyday hoping they come off back order.

You should be fine with that motor and prop combination. Although you may be able to go 6 X 3 or 5 X 4.3.

If these were able to fly with a stock motor at around 5 oz you need not be concerned.

Yep. I have them on a couple or three other planes too. Great little motor. Running on two or three cells. Two on the P47.

Not long but Ive flown the mini FW190 to a point of "hard to see what I'm doing" no range issues and no brownouts after 9 flights...

Bonding is really easy just like the ar6400

About the Spektrum compatible receiver(s). Can you be a little more specific about how long ago you bought it/them? I'm trying to figure out how long HK has had them backordered.

I last placed my order on the 23rd of June if I remember correctly.. I will let you know as soon as I can check because my jobs pc is behind proxy and won't allow me to visit HK.
Now you have to be fast because as soon as they come in stock they only last for a few hours every time.. I don't lose my chance to order every time they come in stock... next time I'm gonna order 3 or 4

FW-190 ready to fly

Here's my FW-190 finally ready to fly. Decals and paint work all done.
Still waiting for some eBay MicroSol to arrive for the decals but I'm happy to fly it as-is.

I'm also waiting for the damn windy weather here to calm down. It's been almost 2 weeks of windy weather.

Hey slaanesh. That's one good lookin' Focke Wulf. Hadn't heard of Micro Sol before. Gonna have to get me some. You list your lipo's weight but don't say what size it is. I'm gonna guess it's a 2 cell 350 mah?
