Set of 4 BME RED Hydros for $50 shipped - Seattle area group buy?

4 Hydros for 50 bucks shipped. I've always wanted to build a foamy hydroplane. Does anybody in the Seattle area want to join up and do a group buy? We can split the cost of a set.

That's a good deal. Unfortunately I am in Florida and so can't join a group buy with you.

I even sent them an email and asked if they would sell me two for $25 but they wouldn't. I just don't need 4.

I'll bet here in Florida we could get enough interest to divide up 4.

In the past I've contemplated buying one of these as well. Looks like now is the time. Minhmattmai, I sent ya PM. I'm going to order today and I'll hold one for ya if ya like? Have new homes in mind for the others.

PS: I ordered on Saturday afternoon and they arrived today. Was shipped out of Bellingham, WA. Quite impressed when I opened one of the boxes. These are worth way more than $12.50 a piece! Haven't heard from the OP so I put out the word and these are all spoken. Will build one tonight or tomorrow and have it ready for the weekend.

I bought a box of 4 some time ago. (Western NY)

If anybody wants two, let me know. I think they are Red or Yellow.

Also, check out HobbyPartz.com. You can get a flight pack with a 1300 KV brushless outrunner, 18 Amp brushless ESC, and three 8g servos for $27.10 plus a flat $4.95 shipping.

That will give you everything you need except some glue and a prop.

In general, they are a foam version of that model, I think it's called a
'death sled" in the Real Flite 4.5 sim, except quite a bit larger. The box each one comes in is almost 2' square.

I bought a box to use to fly in the snow (Western NY), but never got it ready in time.

PM me if you want one.

The Yak is a great buy also, nice 40" wingspan, 3D, balsa, 450-480 size electric for the $50 shipped, you don't find buys like that very often. They ship out fairly quickly which is also a plus.

There Yak is okay...nothing great. I only flew mine a few times before I realized that it isn't too good for much compared to my other planes. IMO it isn't very stable. I'd actually like to sell mine.
