Great Planes Combat P-51

I have a Great Planes Combat P-51 Mustang RTF with OS 25 FX engine. Plane comes complete and ready to fly minus receiver. I have about 15 flight on the plane and motor. It has been clocked at over 100 MPH! It is a screamer, but will also fly nice and slow. Plane is in great condition & has never crashed. Asking $175.

If you are interested send me a pm or you can contact me at montellamj@comcast.net. Thanks Mark

Sweet looking plane! How do you land it without gear?

The GP combat planes aren't that big so they're easy to belly land, not to mention they don't come with gear. On several occasions I've had to belly land my .60 size planes.

P-51

The plane will eventually slow down fairly well for an easy belly landing. I have also belly landed my 60 size mustang as well as my GS TF P-51 without any issues. I started out in RC with small electric planes and almost all of them were belly landers. I think that given how I got into the hobby, I don't even think twice when it comes to belly landing. In many cases it is easier than landing with gear.
