At the end of the day you still have to flip the jet upside down to change or remove the batt. That just plain sucks.
AJ thats still gray only with sunset light on it.

I really don't see the problem with that but AA I thought you had one. You can mount the battery from up top or on bottom. The cockpit is removable to slide a batt right over the lower chamber.

Possibly, but i was thinking it looked more like pewter color

Has anyone run a 6s setup? I want to use (2) 3s lipos in series but worried about the CG.

Have you just tried putting the batteries in the top and bottom compartments? And just tried it?
I haven't gone back to mine and the drive train is still undecided (still likely Wemo ARC 2858.1) but I do have the 3 sets of 2SX3 and 2S+3S. I noticed there is plenty of option to move stuff around to CG.

You go insane and drop a Mach 70 in it but that would be a bit heavy.

It was suggested earlier if you are going with larger to reinforce the wings. I agree with them being thin enough. Either glass the wing core or add some 2 or 3mm CF rod.

Hey guys, had some trouble today. Forgot to set timer and she crapped out down wind and went in hard! The nose is a total loss but everything else is fine. What could I use to rebuild it? From the duct forward is gone and in tiny pieces. Depron? Any ideas would be great. Thanks

What do i do about the wings and the stabs? They are all epoxied on really good! It looks like they would get f up if i tried to seperate? Its like 100 bucks for all the parts to rebuild it new?

if you break the fuse im sure you can peel the epoxy of once you reach the joining points. You will remove some paint too... Big deal. ,)
you can remove them. Just get a sharp knife or xacto and the epoxy can peel off

I am very tempted that when i get my new fuse to just graft/cut the nose off and put it on the old plane since its perfect except the nose. Just depends how much time and effort i want to spend on it? Ill let you know what happens.
