The site looks rather skewed

Whats up with the board this morning? Im seeing icons in the root page, cannot get to my blog thru mygroups and when I did the fonts are, well all screwed up.
Now im seeing a infractions pane in my blog

When I went to log out a window popped up and it said "undefined" click ok and you get a new page saying "An error occurred while attempting to log you out. Click here to log out.

ya...I"m not very impressed with the new forum upgrade.

I really dislike all the colored tags next to the threads on the front page.

grumble grumble grumble......

Worst of all, no "related topics" button?

It now is impossible to go directly from "scale" to "parkfliers" for example without first going to the main electric page?????

That's so silly, I bet they are still working on things....

Not to mention the little green arrow thinks I haven't visited for a week or so, and is taking me back many pages I have already seen when I click on it.

I am sure they'll get the new bugs worked out soon.

That's what I noticed first. All of a sudden, my "new subscribed" list is over 80 threads long! Then, the "first unread" button may or may not take me to the actual "last read" post...

What a mess!

The Subscribed Threads on the MyRCGroups page are formatted wrong, plus it has a long list of threads that shouldn't be there because they don't have any posts I haven't already read; "infractions" that expired several years ago are now showing at the bottom of the page; and the rest of the page, including Subscribed Forums, is totally messed up and doesn't fit my screen right.

And if I click on a subscribed thread that does have new posts, it takes me to the beginning of the thread and I can't just continue where I left off.

That's just what I've discovered in the first minute! Judging from that, there are probably a lot more issues yet to be discovered.

I always say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

With this many users, I'd think RCG would have a "Development" board to do all this testing on.... rather than the public/production board.

Nope. I guess we're all lab test rats.

Was hoping that logging out would reset my subscribed list, but I can't even seem to logout without an error tag. It allows an alternative exit but this one does not seem to reset the fields. OOh and a new edit window that is kind of cool.

Once you update, all your custom preferences go away. Mike is working like crazy to get it to where people like it. If you find any bugs, let him know, he is fixing things really fast.

Well, it looks like signatures are suddenly working!

My guess is that you entered a signature a few years ago when the option existed and now it's suddenly showing up in your posts. However, I was unable to find an option in Control Panel to add or edit signatures. That means that although you typed "then" when you really meant "than", there's no way for you to correct your error.

It might actually turn out to be fun discovering all of these bugs.

What's up with your Kmart quote, didn't I see that on another thread somewhere?
Bug?

foam

Edit: we have a goto page option, and a multiquote option, I don't recall seeing before.

If you have "Show Signatures" selected in your Thread Display Options, it appears at the end of kmart's post #11, just above mine, and also at the end of this post on another forum, both of which were made today. Older posts of his don't include that signature.

As far as I can tell, all of his subsequent posts will also include it, and there won't be anything he can do to remove or change it until the bug is fixed.

That is, of course, unless I'm missing something. Can you find any way to control your own signatures?

No, I did mine a 5 AM this morning. Under My RCG, there is a way to edit your signature, and show signature.
