New Product
Walkera 4-3Q2 now in stock at RcHobbyHelicopter

We just Received our First Shipment of the new 4-3Q2 Helicopters from Walkera.
And the photos do not do them justice!
They look Very Very Cool to me.
the Fuse is a fairly thick hard plastic shell.
But the Heli only weighs 55g without the battery.
They are also bigger than I expected (Easier to see from a distance).
I posted them on our Social network site and they are selling out rapidly.
Z06 Tony should have his by thursday. So he can be the first to comment on them.
More Coming soon on our AddictiveRC.com Network site.
Cheers, JohnW

Cool. Wonder why they didn't put the CB100 head in it? I guess that will be the 4#3Q2-1

Because a lot of people don't want an auto-stabilizing head. Flying a heli you actually have to fly is lots more fun.

John, will you have any to sell without a TX? I don't need another one of those.

Tony,

I just flew a 4-3Q2 and it is incredibly stable in a hover.

I think putting a CB100 Head on it would be a waste of time IMHO.

I posted Pics and My first Impression Here on my Daily Blog.

John, would it be possible to special order one without a TX. I'd like to use my 2801Pro with it and don't want yet another TX to recycle.

OK, Got a chance to fly it for a few packs. 1st thing I noticed when I opened it was the body is much bigger and like a thick plastic. Looks very durable for noobs. It is also more stable than the old Q cus of weight and increased headspeed. I did find 1 thing I did not like. It is a little heavy for the stock motor. I would suggest a 3.8g C05-2 or a HP05S. Both will work with the stock ESC. You can also get away with just using a bigger pinion and keeping it heavy for added stability. I have been flying for 3 years so prefer it ligher. Stock motor weighs almost 11g so you can save 7g right there. You can also use the 400mAh 20C batts john sells(I use them)and lose another 2g. I took it apart and the 5in1 is alot better. 1st off it is B/L ready w/included ESC's and the servos are servisable and a way better design. They have gears in them now.
Conclusion, this is a sweet heli out of the box and very stable. I also love the gloss white paddles better than any color so far. The blades have a gloss finish now also. The tail looks like it can take a BEATING. If you are sick of replacing CF stick booms, you might want to just get this heli and you wont have that problem again. As I mentioned been flying 3 years now so stock is not good enough for me so here is a link to the 4#3T I am working on now-> http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...4#post13465304

Tony, John,
Are you saying this flies nearly as stable as the cb100. I like the idea of a stable flyer with the 90* head. ( Been holding off on the cb100 order due to the tail rotor probs) I also like the scale bodies better than the pod and boom. If that is the case this will be my next and last copter for a while.

I have a CB100 head and am thinking of installing it to have the best of both worlds.

Sorry yes it is not quite as stable(pretty close) as the CB100 but will hover hands off unlike a stock 4#3B. The tail is hard to break on this heli.

Tony,
Thanks for the info. I want something like the cb100 but not as wild as the 4#3b. I think the 90* flybar will give the best of both. Pretty stable and also able to have decent ff without any other problems. Also better to train with for future copters.
