mate it's an arf, I've looked into the engine and pretty much decided on a dle30cc lighter and more powerful than a zenoah g20i. They only recommend a .61 however the 30cc will be just fine with carefull placement of components.

To whomever you may be,

I gather that your presence on this forum wether you are from the FAA or not does not justify in my mind your comment, I am not sure, dear sir if you do have a sense of humor or not, frankly I am dissapointed in you or the organisation you may represent in accusing myself of any illegal behaviour without any prior evidence.

I will not vouch for my morals or wether or not any action I take is legal or not as I do not have to. Accussing me of illegal behaviour on a public forum without any evidence of such except for a comment made in jest in my belief is a form of defamation. I will end this by lastly saying that I am quite frankly dissapointed. Shame on you.

Bindle83,

I have two Zenoah's on FPV planes and they are awesome I can tell you that I would not have either of the engines you are talking about, you dont want the G-20 EI because it is very heavy with very little power, requires an ignition battery, and is just something else to go dead and have to charge, just a pain in the arse.. Electronic ignition also generates a lot of Radio noise and is likely to reduce yor RC range . The G26 with a built in magneto is a perfect engine for FPV. When flying FPV, reliability of the engine is EVERYTHING, and with a standard zenoah with built in Magneto, you start the engine and never think about it again. You can find lighter engines, like the dle30cc you are talking about, but chances are you will not be happy with it. I have been flying a Zenoah G26 and G45 for 4 years now and have never had to do anything to them, I dont adjust needle valves, never have to even touch them... The Zenoahs are so reliable I just start them and I never even think about the engine in flight, I just enjoy flying even on an hour flight which is very typical for me. No other engine at the field ever matches what the Zenoah's do.
