Which heli 4G6 or CB100 indoor

I already have 3 trex 450's and 1 t250.

I also have a quark for those calm days. I am moving on from my 4G3 and 4#3b and can;t decide which heli to get.

I REALLY want the 4G6 but i only need something for indoor to get me through the winter. I was going with the CB100 or 4B120 but I am torn for the 4G6.

Thoughts?

The 4G6 is just the bigger brother to the 4G3 so if the G3 is too big for inside flying for you, the G6 will only be worse.
On the other side though, the smaller CB100 has a self stabilzing head which may bore you since you already fly regular helis, but the stabilization will help with flying inside in small spaces.

Both helis you list are just newer versions of the ones you say you are moving on from

Xrated....

I HEAR you The G3 is not to big for me indoors which is why I was looking at the G6.

I'm just bored with the G3 and 4#3 ( both for sale with over $100 in parts for $130 shipped NO TX's). I also am fearfull that the CB100 will be a bit boring.

Ever try the 4B120?

Off topic.....don't you DQ dbl brushless? How is that?

Never had a 4B120....not even sure what model that is?? Edit: I see now the 4B120 is just a scale version of the 4G3. John from RCHobbyhelicopter has them and he said they flew very stable when he tested them. I guess the extra fuselage weight lowers the COG and helps stabilize it like 4#3Q vs the 4#3B

I do have a double brushless 59DQ. Its Blade 400 sized and looks really cool in the air. Still has a motor and shaft driven tail that drifts a little as the battery drains though. No more work for me than the 4G3 was. Its the only motor driven tail heli I have at the time as I have moved away from them

Don't have the g6 yet myself (it's on the way) but I would wonder if you are already bored with the g3 if the g6 wouldn't be even less interesting. From what I understand it's a much more stable/predictable heli than the g3. Not sure if that's the metric you're considering, but thought I'd throw it out there.

You already got a G3, just get Terence's G6 crash kit. Turn it into a 4G6 and save plenty. The RX 2609 will work fine with 4G3 TX. I did it, very happy, and I'm not going back to motor tail ( just like I'm not going back to hovering FP's ever again ). If you have any doubt, just check my RCgroup blog and see how fast I fly my G6 indoor.
