such numbers ebay sellers use to track their own listings

here is short (1MB) video of my most used nunchuck,
it is selfcontained and good for about 1km flying (some 50mW TX)
filmed 1 hour ago, we have summer here

My god please sell these things complete and ready to go. You have to realize we don't have the skills you do to solder and create this crap.

try connecting single cell lipo to the nunchuck and make a screen capture while using PC soundcard o-scope, there are many freeware/shareware versions.
One problem with ebay nunchucks is that many of them use red wires for ground - easy to make mistake and connect reversed polarity supply. On four pin molex connector 1st pin is ground regardless of color and easily identified by double wire (prallel connection) while Pin4 always single line.

see picture of most popular ebay nunchuck - it uses RED wire for Ground

once again, when making your own connector disregard colors, twisted line mean pin #1

yes, received yesterday.
I'll load new firmware: now it is possible to switch Accelerometer/Joystick modes in flight and there 3 ways to manage throttle.
Because finger is faster than wrist flying 3rd person joystick works better for aileron/elevator and accelerometers do throttle/rudder. When flying FPV I use accelerometers for ail/elev and can fly without touching the joystick whole flight.
To swap acc/joystick controls rapidly push C button 4 times
when acc assigned to throttle you don't want to hold nunchuck at fixed angle continuosly so throttle level updated only when you push Z button shortly, that is if you need to turn off motor lower your hand 1st (some 30degree) than push Z button. If Z button pushed rapidly 2 times there will be no ACC hold and any movement will reflect throttle instantly. 3 rapid Z clicks activate throttle mode when only extreme (hand) positions change throttle same way like volume up/down on digital radios, useful when you need to adjust low speed (near stall) very precisely and still have little restriction on hand movement. I almost always use mode 1 and can hold nunchuck at any angle while flying. Today friend of mine came to visit me, saw what I'm doing and wanted to try the nunchuck , without any experiance he was flying short periods of 1-2minutes (my plane survived all crashes!) the guy has grandchildren, if he used the nunchuck to control flying wing anyone can.

is it possible to order the complete kit (nunchuck+tx+rx)?
or otherwise is possible to send you the tx and rx and get it assembled with nunchuck?
thanks!

yes ! PM for details.

Nunchuck update:
there are newer black nunchucks offered on ebay,
these use MMA7660 accelerometer that has just 6bit resolution
about every other type has 9 useful bits of resilution so the black nunchuck is a downgrade

I've further modified RC nunchuck firmware,
now every function set with only one hand (no more holding buttons on power up)

To enter setup mode push Z-btn rapidly 8 or more times (till long beep)
now within 5s you must choose new settings (inactivity timeout):

to reverse a channel:
click ch number using C button(one ckick ==ch1) then pull Joystick to confirm

to switch delta/normal mode:
same as above but push the joystick

to swap accel/joystick controls - dont' use Joystick just push C button

to store new setting hold C-btn for 5s (till cont. tone)

Rudder function no longer "borrowed" to set throttle idle, click Zbtn 3times to set throttle reference point(fine tune in smal steps) - remember throttle stick is normally centered ,to cut throttle push shortly Z- btn, double click or pull throttle to max to activate throttle stick/acc.

ch7 and ch8 are 3-position channels:
long(1s) C-btn to set ch7 zero, 2s hold to set 50% and 3s hold for 100%
same way Z_btn sets ch8

ch4,5,6, set as used to be - with Rudder
1 short clicks on C_btn =Rudder
2x =set ch4
3x =set ch5
4x =ch6

when Rudder is switched to ch5-7 variable tone heard to estimate channel position, 8bit channels set same way as volume on MP3 players, tilt accelerometer to extremes to step up/down
channels

when you store current settings(5s C_btn hold) accelerometer and joystick values stored for future reference as 0. If at that time you tilt the Nunchuck or slightly push the joystick in direction opposite to wanted trim that will work.It takes couple tries but works on all channels. If you have few models to control you have to trim them all mechanically. Storing acc/pot offset reduces dynamic range (less bits of resolution available)
Original Nunchuck joystick has 8-bit resolution
modified Nunchuck output channels as 255~512 (1~2ms) == 8 useful bits

I don't suppose my radios have arrived in the post yet? I paid loads extra for tracking, but the tracking number they gave me doesn't seem to work.

I'm still trying to find easily available radios with good specs
then make radio specific "how-to"

modified radio turns on and sets some high channel (further away from most used ch1) when power applied, you don't push any buttons. To save weight LCD is removed along with case,speaker,buttons. Every brand/make has different sequence to set channel that is chip programmed to work with Midland radio won't work with Motorola.
Latest radio that I tried was not comparable to Midland LXT series, transmitter section so bad designed it would never pass FCC test , receiver portion overloaded easily when transmitter is close but worst of all the radio can't handle vibration.
so far Midlands are best radios you can get

@ lovegroove: registered airmail is slowest and takes some 2-3 weeks

@Sid3ways: when powered up the modified TX UHF radio trying to detect Nunchuck, if no luck nunchuck connector set to accept standard PPM from your transmitter
