On the CX2 I put the flyRc rive sud motors. They seem to make less noise than the stock ones. I also had their blade grips, didn't like em. It is better to have the flites since the parts are everywhere. I bought the blackhawk and JetRanger canopies. Like them a lot.

You'll love the UM Mustang, I just flew it at the gymnasium this PM and it is very stable, half throttle flyer. You can also fly it outside but wait til the summer come back. If it is too cold, the battery freezes and you can say goodby to power.

Should try to find a way to isolate the battery from the prop draft. Here is a vid from the Mustang in the gym (and some other machines

Yep it is me flying ! You don't see me in the vid though. The plane is very sturdy. The spinner and the landing gear are most likely to break first. They are easy to repair though, just glue the spinner back and use double sided tape to glue the landing gear holder back .

I suggest using clear tape on the wing tips. If you hit a column or a wall inside it will prevent them to be crunch.

Have fun !

I made another one last weekend in the gymnasium with our club gang. Mostly MCX and MSR. I flew the mustang and the UM Sukhoi but it was not filmed.

Nice vid

Tonight was my first gym flight in club I just joined and I was flying the MSR and MCX. They were impressed with the MSR all around and the speed of my MCX. Was a lot of fun; can't wait till next time!

Yep they are fine machines. I prefer the MCX in the house where space in small and the MSR in the gym where it can stretch its legs (blades ?)

The P-51 is a nice flyer but the sukhoio nees a little more space as it flies heavier and needs some speed.

If you were in the states I'd say to go to your local national guard armory.

They have a huge gym for the one here, and they don't charge me a thing to fly there. Not sure if they have the equivalent in Canada or not.

The nearest big enough military installation would be too far. I guess here the equivalent to your national guard would be the armed forces reserve and they are not equipped with such installations, at least not where I live.

We rent the gymnasium in one of the school in the area. We could rent a bigger one if we were a big enough group, but we are only 5 to 8 who flies inside. Hopefully with the new MCX and MSR and the new e-flite UM planes there will be more joining.
