I don't have an E-6 Rx, but do have black pods that get hot as hell down here in summer.

Wonder if anyone has found a significant reduction in heat by spraying the pods white?
Thanks.

Yes John,

My brother, Buddy, did some tests with my infared thermometer on auto metal. A huge difference between White or Silver and Most other colors. Easy to run your own tests, lots of cars in most parking lots.
I had a painted white canopy on one of my old DLGs and remembering how much cooler it was, I had Dave paint the pod white, on my new Arrow Pro legend.
Also some epoxies start getting soft at between 150-200 F degrees. That's one of the reasons I post cure and use AeroPoxy on the CF laminates I make.
I'm good to over 200 degrees F. Too bad it's not as clear as some other epoxies. Probably overkill though.

Seba,
Man that feels good...thanks!
You never know it until you hear it!
I've also learned a hell of a lot from your build post.
Your flying plug-in stab designs are especially important to me. I'll never build anything else.
Thanks all round!
