I've got one of these but I can't say it's one of my favourites. It seems a bit too small on light days and doesn't have enough energy retention on better days. The spar isn't on the c.g. and so I haven't worked out a ballast setup yet. All up with battery mine weighs 452g. What weight are others using ?

Emax are good ,the motor i used was 1000kv with 9x6 graupner cam blades on a H/City hub and because everything was kept light t had no trouble getting up quickly, perhaps you are after hot liner vertical performance.

I found i had to keep the CG forward as it was unstable and was lucky to land it on the maiden in one piece. from memory its at around 25mm FLE.

i picked this plane because it was a bargain i couldnt pass up and it had a nice wing span so it should be really stable also im hopping it will slow right down and help me learn throttle control as all my planes i fly full throttle the whole flight mostly flying wings and this will be my first glider i would love hot liner performance but i doubt i will achieve this with a 28mm motor?
