If you have a kit that switches on/off, it will only be on if you Hold the trainer switch.

If you have a kit that is on all the time, it will be on if plugged into CH6

If you only want lights (no on/off, machinegun etc..) you can do what I did. Looking at the video above my post, at 1:17 he shows he stripped a wire. Thats the wire I stole power from, only I stripped red and brown instead which is + and - from battery.
From there I soldered some junkbox resistors to each LED to limit current to about 5mA.
The wires are routed on the plane using regular tape to hold it.

Wheres the best cheapest place to get lights? I'm considering about getting one.

Cabman - looks great! Is that Chrome Monokote? I see you've added a clear canopy and cockpit, another big improvement. Also a bottom surface for the wing. Let us know how the maiden goes.

Is there anyone currently selling the canopies, drop tanks, and cockpit kits for the Micro P-51? I am interested in getting enough for a few of each.

Mtflyr made some tanks, LW Hughes made some canopies, including a B/C model. Don't know if these are still available, you'll have to do a search. Someone also posted some gear doors you could download and print yourself, which look great, again, you'll have to search.

Park Flyer Plastics made the canopy and cockpit I used.

Thank Angelo, I have PM's off to both of these guys to see if they still have parts. I am currently working on a "GUNFIGHTER" an would love to have these options. I looked into the other canopies as you said also but some guys were saying shipping charges from there are rediculous, haven't looked that far myself yet.
