From the feature list:

Quote:
- Perfect appearance and emulation (Scale appearance, great attention has been given to details)
You mean there's a full scale version of this?

Cheers,

Sander.

I dont think anyone can deny this is the design MultiPlex should have started with in the 1st place. Notice pool Rudder authority just like the EZ? No big deal when you have ailerons, the rudder is for fine tuning direction as it should be. If only they could have put longer wings on her like the BWEZ.

We all know how fast the Easy Star's sell out and I thought this would be an excellent alternative choice to post here. Time will tell how difficult or easy it will be to split the fuse in half for a successful FPV build. Has anyone purchased a RTF kit from BlitZworks? Do they Glue their frames together or do they use that thin double sticky tape??

I do not agree, i do barrell rolls with the modded rudder (see videos) ...the fact that the EZ doesn't have airelons and it does have a small rudder is just a decision not a project lack, the EZ is designed to be easy to pilot, autostable, to make VERY gentle turns, to be very permissive on almost any pilot error. Enlarge the rudder, add the ailerons, put longer wings... you gonna have more versatile plane *but* on the other side you'll loose those fliying capabilities aimed for the beginners pilots, since the EZ is just that: a plane for beginners... and it's perfect for this purpose.

that's true, but is also true that I've never see anyone piloting an ez* with standard rudder... everybody feel the need of making it a bit bigger... I think MPX should have made it bigger and in the manual they should suggest to connect the control bowden in the last position on the rudder for soft control or closer to the rudder for more control.. They could also make it aileronable... with the holes ready for servos and ailerons ready to be cutted out once the pilot is ready for them..

This on the field or just browsing this forum section? ...if you imagine a beginner (and i mean a real beginner) with a *STOCK* EZ (so forget all those 1.2kg fat flying machines), you'll find that he would be alot more confortable with the stock rudder rather than an enlarged one, because it's almost impossible (or very hard) to dive it into a spiral maintaining a "normal" speed.
I agree that yuo can obtain the same result acting with exp or epa on the rudder channel... *but* we're talking about newcomers, they need to install a simple 3ch radio and put the thing in the air, and fly it "left/right/up/down" ..how it is designed the EZ reduces all those initial mistakes (being too rude on the sticks.. do not setup properly the trims... and so on).
