Will S3114 servo arms give enough throw?

Right angles fall right on the aileron push-rods from spline screw by using pre-cut control horn slots on the MX2 and last hole in the x-long servo arm that comes with the S3114's.
Do the servo arms from the S3114's give the MX2 enough throw?

Yes, they sure do give you enough throw, however you really should use an offset arm such as the ones from Radical RC to get proper geometry there. I'm not sure how you could get 90deg angles with a straight arm... the control horns on the ailerons are much further apart than the length of the servo arm that comes with the S3114. I use the RadicalRC .625" offset arm and typically use the second hole from the bottom. This gives me proper aileron differential (zero).

Thanks for your help.
That's just it you get right angles from center of spline to push-rod line by using the last hole on the S3114's longest arm. That will do away with any differential.
Here's a picture it descibes it beter than words.I'm gettig the same geometery by using the last hole on the S3114's.

What kind of AUW are people getting with the A10-9L

I'm using the A10-9L,TP 2S 65C 325's,4.5 gram Frsky 4 channel fasst,and S3114's on all surfaces w/o landing gear.
AUW RTF right now is 6.5 oz.Too heavy for the A10-9L?

That'll have marginal power on the A10-9L. An A20-34S would be a better option at that weight.

Did they ever get the a10-9L and the CC10 to work well together? Was there an update released?

I love the motor but gave up on the ESC combo after tiring of the inconsistent throttle response (particularly when transitioning from non-powered down-lines to powered flight).

Many chose to use the trim or a mix on a switch to keep the prop spinning all the time. This overcame the starting issue in flight and improves throttle response. I have not checked for a newer version. Guess I need to check again.

I always run a slow idle-up as, for my flying, I don't see a good reason for the motor to turn completely off in flight. Downline braking is improved and and throttle response is improved with any motor/ESC when the motor stays at a slow idle. That said, with my idle-up I don't have any problem with the A10-9L and Phoenix 10 combination. None of them have the latest software either... once the ESC is direct-soldered to the receiver, it's kind of hard to program

I got a rebuilt a 2204,25gram motor that should work great.I could start shaving more weight but for outdoor flying not worth the time.

Is it for the indoor depron model or an EPP model? If it's depron, that motor should work just fine. For the EPP planes, it might be a little marginal...

I got the EPP version and for such a large bird I'm happy with an 6.7oz AUW.
