New Product
Fancy Foam MX2 by RJ Gritter

It's been a long time coming, and I am now proud to introduce the Fancy Foam MX2!

I just built the first printed kit last night, and kits will be in production and for sale next week. The color scheme is based on my airbrushed MX2 that I flew at ETOC this year. Take a look!

I know a lot of you have been waiting for a while. Well now here it is. This is what Rj, Seth, and I flew at ETOC 2009. It was well worth the wait.
Plus you cant beat that scheme!

If you guys have any questions dont hessitate to ask.

Congratulations RJ! It is a very nice looking design and flies very well. Will the kit version come with the spades?

Thank you! Yes, the kit will come exactly as I have been flying it with spades and all.

Will the printing colors be changed to more closely match your ETOC model? Do you know when a white kit will be offered?

Thanks

Most likely not... the printed model looks very good in the current colors, and darker colors add weight. For some reason the pictures make the printed kit look lighter than it is, while in reality they are pretty close.

I expect the white kit will be available at the same time the printed kit is.

Thanks for the reply. The photos make the printed kit look very light when next to your ETOC model. Do you know how much the printed scheme weighs when compared to your airbrushed model? Printing is definitely a time saver for the builder, unless you use Gary to paint them.

I agree, the picture is a little misleading. I have an unbuilt kit both printed and unprinted here, so I will put them on the scale and find out for you as soon as I can!

You guys won't be dissappointed with this one! Should be a big hit!

This is indeed what myself, Jamie and RJ flew at ETOC. Comes exactly as we flew them at ETOC, down to the spades!

Like Jamie and RJ said, feel free to ask questions, we'll help!

Hi RJ,

I was just curious as to the different weights of the finishing methods. At my level of flying the weight difference wouldn't make a difference. I buy printed models when I like the scheme and airbrush my own when I need to. Gary is the best deal around, but shipping back and forth to California exposes the model to shipping damage. Many of my kits have arrived with damage in spite of careful packing.
