If there was any weight at all in the "gondola", it would be sagging big time. As you can see, no sag at all while in flight. Also the way it was spinning, you could tell there was no weight in the bottom center of the balloon. All it takes is common sense to figure that out! Too me it looked like "Jupiter" from Lost in Space. I'm sure the Feds will whisk it off to area 51 and claim it was a hot air balloon!

That boy was screwing around with dad's toys and let it go. Now he's hiding out on tierra firma somewhere. He'll show up when he gets hungry or his brothers rat him out.

Doesn't seem big enough to be able lift a child.

My hunch is the kids were messing with their dad’s balloon and it took off. The youngest being scared and hit it for the hills. I’m pretty sure Mom and Dad will be receiving a nice bill.

i would assume dad is smart enough to know the thing couldn't lift a kid so maybe someone else alerted the authorities?


i only caught a glimpse of it as i walked past the tv and was wondering where someone could "ride" in that thing. looked like a saucer with a nub on the bottom.

I would assume Dad is smart enough to realize he is responsible for the balloon getting loose and creating a hazard and an emergency.

I don't see how the kid could untie the thing and then get in it without help. The news reported his brother saw him get in the thing and another person saw something fall from the balloon, but as we know eyewitnesses are pretty unreliable.

If he did fall out there would be some sort of open area, unless the floor was thin plywood and part of it popped open to let him slip out.

Man, I hope he's hiding under his bed.

The child might have crawled into a box that was attached to the baloon.

Evidently, there was some kind of box tethered beneath it.

It is now a missing person’s case and the talking heads are beginning to speculate foul play! That didn’t take long.

Well, it’s not going to preempt Glenn Beck. I guess I’ll watch Wolf.

The landing was just too soft to have any "Body" inside.

Plus, no hatch doors were open so, how in the heck are people saying someone fell out of it....Oh, I know....the kid had wings and closed the hatch after he left in mid-air.
