Long Day Guys!
I don't have a lot of time me and the family are going out to dinner...but she's ready.. I had to take the fan out twice today
After I got everything looking perfect, CG dead on... I take it out side and run it up.. this things sucks some serious air.. both the duct collapses
(the DS didn't even move the side walls) So I pull it all back out... wrap the ducts about every 4" with carbon tow... get it all back in ... run it up.. same thing just not as bad...pull it back out.. this time I had some 1/8 by 1/4 carbon strips so I put those bettween the tow... got it all back together taped up and ran her up.. all is well now

Also so happy that when I weighed I'm 17lbs 8 oz so I lost 1oz with the swap.. but the took a serious diet to make happen.. so I'm dead nuts 17 1/2 pounds

Here's the very powerful numbers:

Ready to fly weight is 17 lbs 8 oz

Dyn-E-Max Scorpion 630 KV on 12s 30c 5000 TP pro power packs

Throttle******Watts*******Amps*******pounds installed thrust

1/2*********(1650)*******(35)************(6 lbs 12 oz)
3/4*********(3100)*******(73)*************(10)
Full*********(4200)*******(98)************(12 lbs 6 oz)

Compared to the DS:

Ready to fly weight is 17 lbs 9 oz

DS-94 1521 2y on 12s 30c 5000 TP pro power packs

Throttle******Watts*******Amps*******pounds installed thrust

1/2*********(1680)*******(35)************(3.14)
3/4*********(2540)*******(56)*************(8)
Full*********(3950)*******(90)************(10.2)

The Dyn-E-MAx pulls so much harder on the ground... I had it on my big stand on the shop floor and it would drag the whole plane around on the stand..this is a big metal stand used in body shops to sand doors

The number show it should out perform the DS in everyway.. the static thrust make the DS look silly ...really so at half throttle
So numbers are numbers... flying it will tell the tell she goes in the morning
I hope all goes well... I ran it up the street and it just sound awsome and has killer power on the ground... it just leap forward when I punch it

so will see
I started taking pictures today but as things went bad and time was running out .. I stopped.. but I'm real happy with the install and can't wait to see how she does

your numbers look familiar you will notice that your plane will now have quicker acceleration on the ground and in the air...not to mention the sound. not too surprising it collapsed the ducts, this thing pulls some serious air.

good luck...

Wow sweet Ron!

That 2 pounds of extra thrust will be amplified in the air I hope. The dynamax fan sounds so good. Looking forward to the flight bro.

Thanks guys... Yep Kevin your numbers are pretty much dead on what I'm seeing... I thank you for taking the time to help me

I still can get over the way that thing just smashed the ducts down to nothing!! It looked crazy... then even after the carbon tow... I hope it all holds together

Bob's lucky I'm doing his R&D for him...lol
cross your fingers for me..
I charged the camera but didn't get a chance to call anybody.. I hope one one the guys at the field can help me out
