The Align colour upgrade kit is what I'm running (white kit). I found the paddles to very very good compared to the HK ones. Being very light, I did have to add some expo to my cyclics. Also the tail blades are a big improvemt over the HK ones. This little upgrade kit is well worth it.

I have never seen white skid pipes before... then again I dont troll around on too many sites.

Are they? The left side of the paddle just looks so much thicker than what I have one my heli.

maybe its the way the photo was taken.

Im in the process of converting my 500cmt back to its stock setup. FB head and belt tail. I'll keep the align main gears but i do miss the black ones...

oh, i thought i told you guys....

I have a hk 500tt fbl on the way. Im going to put my 'bling' in that, and make the cmt my 500 beater (until the wife makes me sell it...) I like the idea of haveing two 500 size helis though. So if i do sell it, i will use the money to buy another 500tt....

I know what you mean about the main gear. Mine went threw so many crashes and I still sold it with the original gear.

Hobbyking now has a relabled Henge MD732 and MD752. The 752 is only a few bucks more than the relabeled Towerpro 930 and looks like a good alternative for 500 cyclics.

Im surprised how well the turnigy 930mg are holding up. So far i've had one that came bad, and one got a crack on the top of the case. I replaced the case with the bad one and from then on its been only broken servo arms. And my 500 has hit the ground the wrong way many times.

I was just having a thought about mine MG's too. I did have a dodgy one at 80 flights when it got stuck on power up... did'nt replace it and still going strong after 150 fligts. Another was replaced at 50 flights which was the elevator servo.

I bought some ds510 to replace the MG's and now I have started the 500 FLB project for them instead.
