I don't have a sleeve in mines. Flies just fine. No tracking issues.

I just had a thought to put that on the 500 blades also, but I only do that for the mCPX for some reason. Is there a spot to get a random holo sticker? I had posted this link before, but there must be sheets/rolls of this stuff. Any links?

Why do I buy the Edge or flame holo stickers for $5? Why do I only look for things just sometimes? I mean I had seen this before at the Micheals a couple years ago. Here is a site: http://www.identi-tape.com/deco-holo.html

Search for holographic tapes on Google...

Almost got my 450 FB done also. You heli looks sweet Stixx. I'll post a pic of mine soon. I'm going thru the 25 min CCPM video yet one more time. I'm glad Bob doesn't charge for these vids. I replaced everything except the frame and cyclic servos. This is the heli I learned CP on, I think there are more than 40 crashes on this thing. Too bad the canopy is kind of bleh.

One of the best things we found that makes it look like it's painted, but last longer is some monokote trim sheets. It comes in all the neon colors you would want and you get a 5x36 piece for $4. Just stick it on and cut around the holes with a exacto http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHY05&P=SM

I know I have a better pic, but the rings around my tail rod holders and servo mount is not painted, but monokote.

Thanks Dave....just about every time I take it out I put the stock canopy on it. Ha. I got the idea of the carbon fiber tail boom from you. Thanks for that. It blends better in the looks dept. I think....I have a long list of wants and needs for my hanger. ( like most I'm sure) next is to get my 600 in scale.

Does anyone know where to get the old style thrust bearing hub (that is for the grips with 1 radial and 1 thrust bearing) at a price that's not ridiculous? Apparently Align has stopped selling it and Tarot now charges $5 for a single (probably because they are now the only source). Not even Hobbyking seems to sell these separatly. Tarot seems to be the only source and they are gouging because they know they can.

Is anyone getting more than 4 mins of flying time? If so can you tell me what your setup is?
I.E. battery, motor, pinion, main gear.
Also your flying style. I like a fast hard sport flying, I'm still trying to lean 3d.

Most guy's at the field are getting 6 minutes with no problems.
3000 - 3300 packs, MX500 or scorpion motor. 13t gear and hard 3D. It's funny tho I think hard 3D is easier on all the electrics. Every time I spend doing nothing but flips and tickish tocks (as good as I can do) it all comes down nice a cool.

I run 2600 packs and get 5 minutes on my 500e 3 1/2 on the 500pro at 3200 head speed.
