Boomer, I also opened the cheater hole up a little. It did help some. Got several flights on it at E-Jets. Can`t say enough about how well this event is run. These F-100`s fly well. Jim Hiller, who writes the Jet column for Model Aviation, bought a Usher 1/8th scale F-100 I built 16 yrs ago and electricfied it. Flew it at Kentucky jets this year at well over 100mph. Pics are on the Kentucky Jets thread. RC Universe page 25 I think. Original Camo paint. Chief Beak

Vettster also opened his cheater hole and got another pound of thrust. We did readings before and after.

I just measured back 2" and cut it open. I am TDY but here is a pic from this past weekend with the larger hole.

Your welcome I never got around to it until now to replace the front gear I gave to you, Hehe.
I will have mine up in the air soon.

No video but once I get home from this temporary military assignment I have a disk full of amazing shots at dusk. I am told they look really good as the jet is on the deck, flat out, and fully loaded! I can't wait to see them

My group of slope fliers have been flying edf at or site for a few years now with various 50 to 70 mm jets . We mow the LZ several times a year it makes a good landing area for the jets and gliders , belly landing only!

What I am curious about is weather the F100 will hand launch , built light without landing gear , 6S with enough mah for 4min flight time , what do you think?

I'd say that if you can slope a beer cooler, then YES! It'll soar!

The FF F100 will easily hand launch as long as its not too heavy. It floats very good on landing. I run a 4000 mAh 6S and get 5 min flight times with throttle managment. Look at the aborted landing and sucessfull landing speed in my video from a previous post. She floats!!
