What happened to that Mirage? Dead?
I keep meaning to grab one of those! A quite unique look.
And a nice 'super slow flared landing' !! I like landing longer and faster, but that slow landing is a good skill to have!

There is just something a bit odd and maybe 'metallic' about the Mercury. So that sound is a bit 'alien' to jets. Not as 'sewing machine' as in another video I have of one, but still some form of sound like that. So I don't like that aspect of them.... but in all other ways they are probably excellent units!!

The mirage got the mototurbine and a redbrick 125a fitted and long story short
The bec in the esc let me down and the gear lost power long enough to go in!.

Great Mirage video!!! Unfortunately shipping and taxes make it a bit unattractive, otherwise I would have snatched one of the few remaining at HK international, some 100$ I believe. I think they'll be getting them to other warehouses soon, just as they did with many 90mm foamies.
EDIT: Who's going to get the last of the Mirages from HK, as of now one remaining:-)

Great flight, well done!

It looks like it runs reasonably well on 6s and the gear can handle the grass which is good for me.

great flying and sound!

the cut-out center windshield is very inconspicuous, I was looking for exactly that in your previdous video and wasn't sure :-)

did you do some before / after measurements, e.g. amps static?

what's your opinion on the effect of cutting out the window?

thx Clemens
