Rudeboy, did you use the stock landing gear and wheels?
They look like they would not overly like grass!

Well it sounded quite nice, as it should.
Do you think it was fast enough? Video usually makes things look faster than they are, but that looked 'average' speed.... which then means not overly fast. But, in the end who knows with videos! LOL
It is a big plane, with a very fat wing, so I was thinking the video suggested it might truly need the 8S Jetfan version, which is a jump up in power.
It looked scale enough, but scale only to cruising speed... no supersonic! hehe

That's an interesting hike. Wish I knew exactly were and had the physical ability to climb a mountain like that.

I would piece that plane back together and put 72 120mm fans in it....

Then put a frysky remote in it and ... you know...

see how it goes...

the fan sounds GREAT peter and the idea of the super sabre as it's been said all along this thread is to fly it scale.for speed i have enuff 70mm and 50mm edf to satisfy that.well from the frontcam and the hand cam i would have thought that YOU would know that the actual speed on the vid is how fast it was going actually???did you watch the front cam video peter????the video sugests that i should fly her again soon for more fun.that's all.but thankfully I think that she looked and sounded amazing

As I said, video is useless for speed checks... it makes things look faster. How much faster? Unknown, seeing FOV can change from camera to camera, and most views are specs that have no useful background references - and even if they do, how far away are they? etc etc
So.... video is useless for accurate speed checks.
Bar with RC speedo rough checks - if the sound and flight path is useful enough for that. And if the plane was flown to show its speed capability.

Isn't "Scale supersonic" a scale speed... seeing an F-100 could go supersonic?
Dionysis' looks "scale supersonic", but it is 8S.
To me it looked like the Jetfan 6S version is not up to 'scale supersonic' in this F-100.

the only way to judge it i think pete is to actually see it fly, remember that it was the maiden too
