low wing 25%
pretty basic. all in all, nice. i would like to build a second (third?) one with the wing forward like this, but ill do that later when i can put more into it. has waay too much weight aft of the CG.
ill probly put in some gear and lighten the aft end, and turn it into a 1ch glider. bee a good test of stablity. |

i had to stuff a 300ma 1S lipo in the nose to glide right!
if i do make a second one, it will most likely be balsa, or foam/balsa hybrid. diffficult to control weight distribution of the fuse with $tree foam. depron would do better, skellitonized, or milled, but $tree foam is waaay to soft for that. would be kinda nicd to have balsa stick and tissue aft of the cg, and $tree foam in the nose, as tree foam is pretty good about hard landings. |

Larry ross passed away at the age of 68
Hi LENNY,
It's Lana, Larry Ross's wife. It is with great sadness but even greater peace that I have to tell you that Larry passed away a week ago today. It took me a while to find your emails. Would you let the RC Groups know that Larry is with the Lord and healed completely now and that in lieu of flowers, there is a memorial fund: Larry D. Ross Memorial Fund at ANB Bank, 569 32 Road, Grand Junction, CO 81504. We need help with the final expenses. ![]() Thank you for being a wonderful friend to Larry. We will scatter his ashes from an RC airplane and a regular plane over Branson, MO sometime this spring. ![]() receiving this today 01/14/2013 was very painful to me cause we had Skyped 12/11/2012.. All the old timers remember Larry for his skill's with sketchup and PDF plans for this forum and many more.. ![]() he was always building and some of you new guys should look up his name LARRY ROSS BLOG, http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=987746
or click on one of his posts.... cause he built huge Twin Cargo's and some as small as a paperplate.. ![]() Back in the start of this forum he's there, just havin a ball helping and building.. FAREWELL LARRY ![]() ![]() I BET HE'S BUILDING ONE FOR THE BIG GUY UP THERE RIGHT NOW TO FLY.. YOU WILL BE MISSED.... SAD REGARDS, LENNY |
