this time of corse have the H tail finished and suspension done ill post picks bty the weekend.

going to try a twin battery setup this time i was running a single 5k 45c 3s im going to see how 2x 3000mah 45c 4s will do my power is coming from two e-flite power 25's and 10x6 props ill have to re weigh last time with the 5k mah battery just a tad over 5lbs flew awesome one of my favorite planes to fly...

yeah i do have some landing vids ill look em up and upload tomorrow. landing is my favorite part often just to patern work and touch and goes lol but theres no bouncing this thing looks just like an airliner touching down

okay, did the low wing, wing tips at 60% of the fuse height. wing 5% larger. test glide real nice. very stable, tho no wind that day. wing was too far forward and had a c-47 look to her. needed lots of nose weight. tho i kinda like the look.

next up is a 35% version, foamy.

pretty basic. all in all, nice. i would like to build a second (third?) one with the wing forward like this, but ill do that later when i can put more into it. has waay too much weight aft of the CG.
ill probly put in some gear and lighten the aft end, and turn it into a 1ch glider. bee a good test of stablity.

Nemo, I had a heck of a time getting my CG forward enough on the original.
Moving the wing forward would only make it Worse.
I was onboard with the Bottom mount but forward is Pushing it IMHO.

i had to stuff a 300ma 1S lipo in the nose to glide right!
if i do make a second one, it will most likely be balsa, or foam/balsa hybrid. diffficult to control weight distribution of the fuse with $tree foam. depron would do better, skellitonized, or milled, but $tree foam is waaay to soft for that.

would be kinda nicd to have balsa stick and tissue aft of the cg, and $tree foam in the nose, as tree foam is pretty good about hard landings.

Sad news, Lenny, but thanks for letting us know.

Larry did a lot for this community and will be missed. The last couple of years were difficult for him, and I'm sure for his family. May they all be at peace now.
