Today I flew fpv for the first time. I am debating between a scratchbuild or the bixler for a permanent home for my fpv gear but I couldnt wait. This is my second twin and as you can tell it is still not complete but she did the job and it was fun! She is a real fatty at 3lb 13oz. so she isnt going to be a good long term platform but she sure cut through the breeze I was flying in.

Looks really good. I like it. Thats exactly what I'm thinking of building. Something of that size and style. I already have two motors and the esc's for them. What size motors are you using in this? Also I'm still a little confused about how to,connect the two motors to the Rx. Cut one red wire or something like that.

Dont cut the red wire!..... it will blow up!...... lol....
actually youre right but i would either use a servo lead extension and cut that or you can actually remove the pin from the connector so you can use the esc again later with the bec if you want! I added 7 inches to the length of the fuse which helps with flight characteristics for a heavy plane but makes it tipsy on the ground. I used 1000kv turnigy motors. Both at full throttle pull a total of 30 amps.

An extention is a good idea. I've been looking at the CL 215 water bomber or something along that line. I have all winter to build it. I'll move the dining room table out and setup some saw horses. Nah, not really. I just want a long build project.

hi guys after some advise,built and flown the 75% version with 1300 bluewonders with 1000 lipos . Am now wanting to build the 100% version 1400 wingspan using same motors.On the very first post it states 1300-800 lipos is this correct or did he mean 1300-1800- lipos.As i only have 1000 size batteries.

Im sure you could run two 1000mah and be fine. I have 4000 mah total in my 75 % and it does fine although not quite as aerobatic as the original.

Everything with foam is fixable if you have the patience, and the beauty of the foam is that it will generally be as strong or stronger!

I'm kind of attached to my plane like that though...

I saw a couple of your vids (Pretty sure it was you) peruzing around Youtube a few months ago - did you drop a parachutist ouit of it once?

I didnt get any footage of drops with Jenny. I decided to rebuild because I wanted to have a bottom opening bomb bay. I have built the next Jenny but havent had much time to dial her in. I made a modular bomb bay so I could test out the new airframe before risking the bomb bay. I ended up putting some FPV equipment on her and that went pretty good.

The video was something I put together last night to kill some time for fun. Kinda funny someone disliked the video already. I wonder if they thought I was serious? I mean she was a great flying plane but building is half the fun!
