Great job Foam and Tape!

Really enjoyed the video and the plane. Love the fact that you did or tried so many things that the full scale are used for. Also loved the hovering.

One thing I would like to suggest about the plans. I have been makeing an EZ tile version for the parts. This alllows for the least amount of taping and results in less work for the builders. Also provide a regular style plan for reference.

Again, great job!

Let me know if there is anything you think I should include with the PDF.
Can you make a few different sizes of tiled PDFs? I would like some smaller options for my plan to make a micro version.

Ken, I love your "tab & notch" plans, like the ones you did for Sea BB (also a great aircraft). I hope I don't step on any toes or hurt anyone's feelings by asking, but is there any chance you could jump in on this and create a "tab & notch" parts layout for this bird? I really like the "tab & notch" approach since it keeps everything lined up during assembly.

nope, none at all just some slight undercamber. It uses the 3 bend airfoil.

It is enticing, but I am swamped right now with one of Leadfeather's plans. I am keeping my eye on this one though. I like the simplicity of the design.

Here is my interpretation of the information so far. It is the full set of templates on one page to anyone that might want to scale it. I will do some tiles if anyone wants them and tells me what size to tile to.

Added the fuse side that will print on 8.5 x 11 (letter size) paper.
Added the wing that will print on 8.5 x 11 (letter size) paper.
Added the Vertical and horizontal stabe 8.5 x 11 (letter size) paper
Added fuse front panel 8.5 x 11 (letter size) paper
Added the fuse rear panel and engine nacelle 8.5 x 11 (letter size) paper

That should be all the parts. This is a 57" WS plan.

Updated Plans on page #13 post #187

Final upate (hopefully)

UPDATED PLANS AS OF 10/24/2009 ARE ON PAGE 20 POST #291

Wow fantastic amount of information there Foam and Tape.

For those who are interested, I am still working on my plans, and I do plan to include a "tab & notch" system. They will also be tiled and include some basic instructions for assembly. That being said please feel free to use and modify anything I post however you like! My plans will be specific for construction with Protection Board III.

Thanks FT... those will help.

I like tab and slot, but I have only tried it once on a plan and didn't do too well. What CAD program are you using? Guess I'll watch and see what you do with yours.
