Actually I had never known about Vax computers until long after I was using this screen name.

Years ago I used to play trumpet, and I have a beautiful Yamaha trumpet that was my baby. It's model number was YTR-6335HSMV, named after Mike Vax, a jazz trumpeter. What's funny is that Mike Vax plays for Getzen, one of Yamaha's competitors.

Just a little info re the TWINS as we gotta back on Subject here :-)

Today I made my 1st Twins Cutting for another modeler.
The Pix show what he gets in the way of cut sheets.
6 sheets total. ( 2x of the first two sheets )

This cutting is a n improvement from my personal cutting
and it will get critiqued as well.

Sure wish you made a 75%'er. I would buy three.

Just came across this thread and have two parkzone 480 motors not being used right now and was wondering if they would work for the 75% version or if they would be overkill for a project like this ?

Two 480's would be way overkill for even the 100% size.

OK !!!

and Funny your should bring up the 75% version AGAIN , but !!!

I've been working on that size in ALL 3MM depron - Totals 4 sheets of 3mm

Here's my layout for that size.

4 sheets * $3.50 Ea = $14
$6 per sheet labor = $24
shipping and boxing = $15 USA only - About $21 more for other countries.

total --------------------- $53

I have UPDATED my offerings to include the 100 and 75% Twins, at ...
Northwest Cutout Service

Sure ! is that what everyone is using ?

Honestly, I just figured that smaller would use thinner material
since F&T used 3mm in places on their original.

While I'm fixing the Twins Pic on my web page, I'll re figure the pricing.
Then I'll have to get back into CAD and change all the cutting file offests,
as I cut 3mm with a 1/16 dia bit and 6mm with 1/8" dia.
