Hi Bruce and thank's! For soldering i am using a flux from Griffon, capable of soldering aluminium in open air! After that i clean all the joints using a brass rotary wire.

Hello guys!
I have taked some pictures with the model on the water.
The tug is running perfectly and i can tell you this one is the most maneouvrable model i ever had, it turns almost around it's own axis even at low speed.
Hope you like it
Best regards
George

Thank you guys! You are GREAT, as always!

Karl-i'm working (as everyone out here, ) at two projects in the same time, one of it, (thank's to you) is the ATR rescue tug LT 537, the other is a italian dredging tug from 1918 named RD or "rimorchiatori dragamine", iron hull with wood deck. I'll post some pictures for you to see how it looks like and i will start a thread when i'll have some much more progress on it.
Thank's again for watching
Best regards!
George

The hull was covered in 0.8mm ply then plated in 0.5mm styrene. I wished to simulate the rivets on the body, so i have made a tool for this.

Thank's guys!
Right now i'm working to finish cutting the wood planks for the deck, i'm using walnut for this. The hull/body is almost ready for paint, will be back with some pictures soon.
Regards
George
