Nice to see 3 people have got what they paid for. Shame about all the ones who got to wait and wait and wait. I suppose the extra free month RC Heli are offering to those who complained about shoddy subscriptions will help a little.

As a director for a cable company with 1+ million customers - I've also learned that customers don't call and tell you that your doing a good job, yet everyone with a problem will make a big deal out of it. That being said, I know October was slower then usual for RC Heli but I bet you didn't find threads like this a month or two back. In my opinion you have to also take into consideration how long they have been doing well - prior to this speed bump...

Well you work for a cable company with many customers, do you really want them to call you when you do what they have paid you to do? How many extra employees would your company require if all customers called to say they got what they paid for? My company supplies the oilfields of North and South America and we only need to know about problems so that we can fix them immediately and learn from our mistakes. You may have missed the complaints about RC Heli, it is not just a late delivery in october due to a new supplier it is also about incredibly long waits for subscriptions to start. In my case 98 days from when I paid to when I got my first magazine. It is also about false promises from RC Heli magazine. Many people and not just on this site have received lots of promises and been told "it's in the mail" when in fact it hasn't been. As far as my industry is concerned a happy customer does not need to call us except to place another order.

I just let my subscription go because of the way they depict women. Kind of hard to explain to my kids why there are women dress like that in a RC heli magazine.

I don't want them calling I think you missed my point, that for every one that does call there are tons out there that don't and are happy. Maybe this isn't the case with the Mag since they are trying to rectify the problem with a free month, that's just admiting they screwed up. Still dont' think it's worth holding against them when I don't believe it's more then a recent problem. Speed bump - enough to piss you off but not past the tollerance levels of a reasonable person...

It's no antivirus software/firewall and it doesn't check if anyone of it's users has any clue what he is doing, if he is a competitor who wants to discredit the site or a "concerned mom" who saw someone naked and gives 0 points on all categories.
I like the idea in theory and it can be a good idea to exercise some caution when WOT turns up a warning but on the other hand some warnings are pure BS.
This site is a perfect example because if you check it closely you'll find out that the company behind it is zinio.com, a respectable company that has been in business for a while now and the really interesting part is that WOT has no problems with zinio.com
On the other hand, http://darthdrk.4t.com (which some of you might know) turned up a warning when i first saw it.

WOT aside i haven't had any problems with goreadgreen.com at all.

I just got the November issue. It has all kings of really good articles. It’s good to see all those technical articles. So many magazines just push the new products and don’t give you any real information about how helicopters work – RC Heli is the exception.
