Don't know how you guys are going to fit a Neu 6.7 or 5.2 GB , I was checking today with a 6.7 and it doesn't look like it'll fit, I really want to go with a light geared11xx motor but the more I look at it the more I think it'll be better f5d than a mini f5b.

Not only may it not fit, but it will be very nose heavy unless you get a lot of stuff in that tiny tail.

With a 1110/1Y and a CC125, it barely balances; with a GB...not likely unless you get really creative.

I hear you. I am now going with kontronik 5.2 box, and picked up mega 16/35/1.5 was willing to go smaller on the motor, but nothing else had the proper kv for a 5s pack.. Kontronik boxes are still available from icare... this setup should be ok with cc80... I hope!

They make a 16/25/1.5S (although it might be an "R" designation, i honestly get them confused). It has kv of around 3100 which is near what you are looking for I suppose. A very powerful motor none the less.

The only thing I would be concerned with involving MEGA motors is that they are 6 pole instead of 4s. This means if you are going to spin them up close to their rated RPM (55k) or higher, they're going to put more stress on the controller then your typical Hacker/NEU/ARC/Medusa etc.

with a prop that big you will get massive torque roll when you put the motor on.

Ben "bop it" is my favorite game. How long can you keep it going for? I am only good for about 2 min... it seems to get harder after that!
