I would prefer neu 1115, but since none has hot enough wind in stock, I didn't want to wait for custom order.

This would be petty aweswome on neu 1112 2d 5.2 and 5s on 14.5 prop..

I am going larger because this plane can handle larger prop, and unlike what married women say: prop efficiency is all about three things: length length and length

reporting from office, dreaming of 5s

I know I'm going to get a lot of grief about this, but it seems like there are two schools of thought on the props...not sure what to do.

Some are going with a large folding prop...I have heard others are going with a small pylon prop (4.5x4.5).

Is this really just a difference of priorities? Large prop for hotliner type flying and smaller prop for pylon racing? I already have a pretty fast Absolute and looking to upgrade my Sunracer since it is so small.

If I wanted light and fast what do you guys think?

Neu 1110-1y? What if I wanted to a 4.5x4.5 or 4.75x4.75 prop with a 45C-3S-2200 pack?

Anyone have an idea what colors the Viper comes in?

What about the bottom? Any pictures? I'm having a harder and harder time seeing a red bottom on a blue sky...was hoping for the bottom to have some white/yellow.

The 1110-1Y new version (kv around 4500) would be good on 3s with a 4.1x4.1, but could possibly work with a 4.5x4.5. If you wanted to run a larger prop, an 1112-1Y would be good on 3s with a 4.75x4.75 up to a 5.2x5.2 or possibly more with good cooling.

Although, speaking of prop size, my next F5 motor will be a MEGA 16/35/2, which on 3s with a 7x10 should be good for 700-750 watts

Did you talk to megausa? When I contacted them, they told me they could procure a special wind for my 16/35 which would result in greater efficiency; its still the same wind pattern and kv, although it undergoes some additional TLC netting around 15% greater efficiency... only downside is that it is a special order from CZ = 6 weeks. If I remember though, the additional cost was negligible.

la528it - go for 5.2 GB such small plane don't need 16x17 prop... I would go with 16/35/1 5.2 and RFM 15x16.

I have spare 6.7 and spare 5s, I wish I had not sold my 5.2 ! I believe the 16x17 is also slimmer than 15x16... the amazing video on first page has 16x17, so hopefully it will work out
