Those 5S numbers have to be static for sure,when the plane is in the air unloaded,the numbers come way down.All my numbers with the same setup were safe,but i did want to try a few other props,but did not get the chance....

What does have me scratching my head is that 270 deg temp,did you hold the plane in your hand and run it for a long time ?

All these numbers are in the air flying. I did push it a little hard on the 5S. It is definitely a lot faster on 5S then 4S. Real hazy day and had an extremely hard time seeing it when it entered level flight to the field about 600ft away. I pulled out of throttle but still got a glide speed passing the radar gun at 211mph.

that Viper must be fast, 211mph with the throttle released before..

I am thinking he is talking about the ESC temp,the Neu 1115/1Y runs very cool due to the openings in the front of the motor case,at least mine did (much cooler then the Mega,but the Mega had much cooler temps on the esc and lipo,as my Neu had more temps on the esc and lipo).But those numbers are silly,i am thinking there could be a wrong pole count or Kv entered in the logging.

Depends on how long you want to run your plane WOT.Now i can not comment on the 2.5D,but i sure can on the 1Y.I had the 1Y w/4.75X4.75 apc w/TP 2700mah 5S,and it was fast,but it could not do a 60 second WOT run,the packs were blistering hot,even killed one of them.....so smaller prop,or shorter runs on the 1Y.....On a side note,if i did 5 15sec pulls on the 1Y,the ESC took the brunt of the hit....a bit of a catch 22.But like i said,IT WAS FAST

For inrunners,i for one will stick with Mega,they have such an insane amount of choices to tailor to ANY need for sport F5D.....and for some cool reason,they like to take the heat,and take the pressure of the ESC and lipo in high speed setups.

I am debating on trying my Mega 16/40/1.5rc 2370kv on 6S when I get my Swist.

For now I am going to put it in a buddy of mines Viper. Now that the cooler weather is rolling in, we are going to give that Mega a go on 5S with the APC 5.25x6.25. Should be plenty fast.

Now that is a KILLER setup.I say 2500Kv is perfect for using an APC 4.74X4.75 on 5S,and 2370 would work the same on 6S with a bit more ummmmmmf if you do not want to mess with props (but 2500KV on 6S with cut 4.75X5.5 is the shizzy) ....Now i am taliking 60sec full on runs....I have givin up on pushing stuff to it's bear limits,and if i can not fly it for 60sec WOT,it's not an F5D wanna-b plane But that is just me.

I like about 40 seconds on the jazz with 20 second breaks. So we will see......
