Kazu that was truly inspirering. The new glidelock is quick! Will you apply it on your slow hawk and Falcon-F5? If so, I will like to see their performance. G-lo

New GLDAB acted in FalconF5 well equally.
SlowHawk2 needs adjustment in order to fly. Now I am preparing it.

Mr.Kazu the glide rate is good on the slow hawk as well!
I like the the effortlesness and the naturalness of the glide.
Will you apply the the glide madual to your new slow hawk? What color is your new slow hawk Mr.Kazu?

Kazu, that green fabric really looks good. You can actually get a better glide if you lower the dihedral. If you drill and tap a new hole on the main gear for the ratchet pin just to the side of the current one I think you will see.

Bring your wing lock dihedral down to just a few degrees above the horizontal.

Dear Kinkade
Thank you. I lowered a fixed position of wings.

A postscript: Red SlowHawk3 arrived. Thank you. But, 2 years and six month were long.

I looked at your new gear system and Glide Lock system.
Your idea is splendid. But,the operation of your Glide Lock system is complicated.

I point out problems of this SlowHawk3 package.
1) There is not an operating manual of SlowHawk3.
2) A carbon plate for installation of the main wing does not fit a carbon plate of the body. It is hard that a beginner corrects this.
3) The right and the left gear were installed incorrectly. A right gear was installed to the left. A left gear was installed to the right. Therefore Glide Lock system did not act.
4) Specifications of ESC and Motor are not explained.
In a state of this package, beginner cannot assemble Slowhawk3.

Please improve it.

I use stainless steel gear in Bueo F4, Falcon F5 and Kestrel F6.
I do not use stainless steel gear in SlowHawk.
20-30g increase weight when stainless steel gear was used.

Kazu,
Your program works well on my brushed motors . Precedently, I used the 1.3 version from Alain Bizot himself (tempo=0s), but it was necessary to add a 10 Kohms from +5v to pin 6, your version is more simple for the same result.

Hi, FrancisG
Thank you for a report of a good result.
GLDAB is a best device for gliding at present.
I wish for a good flight of your ornithopter.
