Has anyone upgraded the motor and fan to get speeds of 90-95?

If so can you post the details.

I was not use to taking my wing off the airplane. Then I forgot to put the bolt back in before the flight. Things that make you go boom!!!

Just your basic brain cramp.

I nosed in the Habu on its 5th flight due to sun blindness. I picked up 16 pieces of foam and thought the Habu was a total loss. After 2 hours of epoxy repair work and spackleing, the Habu had a second chance to fly. Well I now have 25 flights on that airframe and it's a joy to fly and looks great in the air. You can't beat Z Foam. I love this jet!

my battery would not balance on the first charge . i'm not using the cheesey charger that came with the model. i'll cycle it a couple of times and see if that helps,anyone else had this problem. please and thanks.

woot got a habu today First hand toss ended in the grass, tossed it with to much AOA, dusted her off and had another go with a little less eagerness and it flew away perfect, nice flying plane

Just add a 5s and you will be faster than 100mph..watch out for the stock esc.. recommend changing to something bigger.. ie castle 60/80 or any of your favorite choice.

What do you want for free? It works, it's adjustable and I'm glad to have it. It makes a good spare to live in the car in case I forget my bench one.

My lipo came new with only 25% charge and severely imbalanced. On a Cellpro 4S it took 4.5 hours to charge and balance. I contacted HH and they will replace it.

Worse part is the new pack test with only 2600 mah of capacity using a CBA II battery analyzer.

Those of you that are running 5s on a different ESC but using stock motor/fan what kind of flights times are you getting?

I'm using a "no name" brand "20c" 3200 5s pack, and I get just about 4 minutes, but I really enjoy flying this plane fast. I think I'm going to buy some Flightmax 5s packs pretty soon.

5s, is really the way to go on the Habu. At first I had a tough time determining the difference between the stock 4s pack and my 5s pack, but now after flying quite a bit more, I can tell the 5s pack has way more thrust. Not a ton more top speed, but alot better vertical, plus the launch is easier.

About about 4 minutes mixed flying with several highspeed passes and verticals.
